AP ART THEME
My theme is nature and humans and how they are connected in many ways. We are connected to nature more than most people realize. People don't appreciate the beauty of nature and what is around us. I wanted to show the connection people have with nature, because I feel a strong connection to nature. The connection I have with nature is calming and happy, while many people are just too busy with life and do not stop to enjoy the little things we have around us.
Each of my pieces are made with clay, then other materials are added after the piece has been glazed. I wanted every piece to stand out in it’s own unique way. I really challenged myself to go above and beyond with the different materials, such as wire, string, polymer clay, epoxy, tin, wood, and other natural materials.

ARTWORK FROM 2014-2016
This is a tree I made, but it broke during firing process. I raku it then I glued it back together then added the string
I made this so fun, It just fish and it was rakud
Just made for fun, also was rakued
it was a plane project. take a shape and make a sculpture out of it. the shape I chose was leaf, I glued them together then added the sting to make them contented. 2016
This vase is made out of wood sticks and paper. I used different type of paper for the outside. 2016
then the outside is a photo I took of a flower then I cut around the flower petals to make them pop out more like as if they were real and coming out of the photo. 2016
